Margaret Lin
Margaret is Managing Partner of PeopleEd, specializing in executive searches for education-related organizations. She brings more than 25 years of experience in the education sector, including over 20 years of executive experience. Margaret brings to each search an extensive national network cultivated through more than two decades of advising and working with leading national, state-based, and local education organizations across the country.
Margaret co-founded and operated Chicago’s first charter school support organization in 1996. She later co-founded and held various leadership roles with the National Association of Charter School Authorizers (NACSA), including serving as its first executive director and later as its Vice President of Knowledge and senior advisor, and led her own national consultancy for two decades. She has served on the governing boards of the national education leadership organization BES, West Denver Preparatory Charter School (now STRIVE Preparatory Schools), and the Denver Urban Debate League. Margaret received her B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and J.D. from Stanford Law School.
